There are plenty of places to go downtown where you will find the major department stores including Kaufmanns, Lazarus, Lord and Taylor, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Additional upscale retail stores are located in One Oxford Centre, while bold and brassy Fifth Avenue Place has a fleet of popular arcade shops. Complementing the department stores Downtown are shopping districts in the city's East End neighborhoods. Trendy and upbeat Walnut Street in Shadyside is a fun place to go for clothes and gifts, while Ellsworth Avenue in the back end of Shadyside is oriented towards art, crafts, and antiques.
